Accessibility Settings on a Windows PC
Users are able to customise the settings on their Windows PC by editing the accessibility settings.
To do this press the Windows key and U key at the same time.
You can also access this by clicking the Windows button and selecting Settings. Click the Accessibility link on the left navigation menu.
This will bring up the Accessibility settings for
- Vision
- Hearing
- Interaction
A user can adjust a range of settings for example:
Vision
- Text size that appears throughout Windows and your apps, to
- Magnifier reading, Zoom increment,
- Colour filters - colour blindness filters, greyscale
- Contrast themes for low vision, light sensitivity
- Narrator - voice, verbosity, keyboard, braille
Hearing
- Audio settings - mono audio, audio notifications
- Hearing devices - pre-sets, environment sound control, audio routing
- Captions - styles, live captions
Interaction
- Speech - voice access, voice typing
- Keyboard
- Mouse
- Eye control
