I am based in Forres. Can I nominate a fellow student to collect items on my behalf?

Yes. If you are based in Forres would like to nominate a fellow student as your proxy borrower, please contact us at library@gsa.ac.uk. Your fellow student will need to agree to act as your proxy.
Once we have set up a link between you and your proxy in our systems, your proxy will be able to borrow on your behalf. They should declare they are acting as your proxy to staff when they approach the Service Desk.
When your proxy borrows an item on your behalf, the item is loaned to your own library account and you remain responsible for its safe return and for any overdue fines that are accrued. You will receive an automated email from us whenever your proxy borrows an item on your behalf.
