Under what permissions do you hold past student dissertations?
Answer
Dissertations by past students are held by the Library and made available to other students either physically or digitally in line with the GSA Intellectual Property Created by Students Policy.
You can request the removal of your dissertation or other work. Please refer to the guidelines in our Takedown Policy.
PhD theses are exempt from this policy. This is because they constitute the version of record for the award of a higher Doctorate degree. A thesis can however be placed in permanent embargo, with the agreement of the Head of Doctoral Studies.
