How will I know if my purchase suggestion has been successful?

Answer

Once we have processed your purchase suggestion, you will be notified by automated email if it has been approved or rejected. If your suggestion has been unsuccessful, this email will generally state why. You can reply to the email if you require further information, and there may be other routes (e.g. interlibrary loan) that will enable us to acquire the resource for you. We currently satisfy around 85% of all purchase suggestions.
