What is Bookshare and how do I access it?

Answer

Bookshare is a service provided by RNIB that allows students with a registered print disability to read and download full-text books from participating publishers. A print disability can include visual impairment, but also physical disability or a learning difference such as dyslexia or autism. Books are provided in DAISY, PDF, EPUB and MP3 format, depending on the publisher.

If you feel you are eligible and would like to register to use the service, contact Our Assistant Librarian Charlotte at c.dunn@gsa.ac.uk. Please note that English as an Additional Language does not qualify as a print disability.
