How do I access Planet eStream?

Answer

Logging in to Planet eStream

GSA Planet eStream is our online streaming platform that gives GSA students access to content created by GSA staff and over 2 million TV and radio broadcasts. We have well over a thousand items in our collection already but are adding more all the time.

To log in to Planet eStream, please visit https://gsa.planetestream.com/ and select the GSA staff and students button. Note: Planet EStream works best when using Google Chrome.

This will re-direct you to a Microsoft Sign on page, enter your GSA Student Email address and password. This will log you in to the GSA Planet Estream service where you will be able to search for recorded content.

Searching and Browsing

From the homepage, you can make a search for resources by using the search box or select the Categories button at the top of the page to browse for resources in different subject areas, including Photography or Race, Rights and Sovereignty, for example.

Off-air Recording

GSA Library are happy to receive requests for off-air recording of TV broadcasts to be added to our Planet eStream. This service is provided under the terms of our Educational Recording Agency licence and only applies to programmes broadcast on terrestrial or Freeview channels (excluding Open University programmes). To request off-air recording, please visit the GSA Library website
