Open Access students
Answer
Open access students can:
Borrow 3 books at a time.
They can photocopy and reserve books.
To photocopy, they will need to use the visitors log-ins and pay at the desk. The visitor log in passes/laminated cards are kept in the visitor folder. They can be topped up by a USA at the LT Desk. (Max £5)
Membership does not include DVDs.
There are application forms at the front desk. The student can fill out the application form, staff at the front desk will add the user to the system and their unique 6 digit barcode is attached to the back of their departmental card.
They can log in to the catalogue and reserve books with a login set up when they join. The username is the barcode number and the password will be exb-followed by a number (see Desk Assistants for this)
